My Family
My name is Nick. I have a big family. I live with my Mother, Father and my sister. I also have a brother, but he is a student and his University is in another city. I am ten and my sister is twelve. So I am the youngest in the family. My grandparents live not far from us, so I spend a lot of time with them. My grandfather is the eldest in the family — he is 70. He doesn’t work any more, but he is a good engineer. My grandmother is 65 and she is a teacher of Maths. She helps me a lot with my homework.
My parents are doctors — Father is a surgeon, and Mother is a physician.
In summer, when we have a vacation, we spend a lot of time together in the country. We have a country house. It is old, but very cosy and comfortable. We play tennis and badminton, ride our bikes together. I always help my Grandpa in the garden — we plant new trees, water the bushes, the flowers and the trees.
My Father is a good photographer — we have several thick family albums. We look through the photos, when we gather in our flat at the weekend and on holidays. We like to remember the most important family events.
My brother is my best friend. Unfortunately, we don’t spend a lot of time together now, but he teaches me, how to live, we have a lot of common hobbies. My sister always tells me what to do, because she is older, and I don’t like it. But we are still good friends. We laugh at each other and different things. We never get bored.
I have a very good and united family. And I am happy to be a part of it.
